Happy Snowz

People and their snow freak outs. You should have even seen this woman on the streetcar this morning – it was so packed and I could barely get off so I said excuse me so people would let me through (obviously) and she said, “There’s like no room.” Ok, so does that mean I should just STAY on the streetcar then and NOT TRY to get off then?! Would it just be pointless for me to try to move because YOU SAY there is NO ROOM!? Is there REALLY NO ROOM!????!
That is all.

The Princess and the Sleep

Weirdest thing - a few weeks ago when the weather was at its winter worst, I was going to bed probably almost an hour earlier than normal 'cause my bod just couldn't carry out the rest of the day. I found the early bedtime felt nice in the evening hours, but by the morning I was more tired than ever. Do you ever sleep too much and then feel exhausted? So last night, I went to bed around 11:30, got about 7.5 hours of sleep, and felt like a new woman this morning - not wanting to punch anyone in the morning! Not like I ever feel this way...

Me + Animal Collective = lurrrve

Just listening to it on the i-tns (aka: how we pronounce iTunes round these parts). Man, love. Not man love, but music love... wow.
So tonight going to an audition for ITC encore - loves that place. Gonna get me onto a student team again. That is if I remember correctly how to do improv, since my last taste was in early December 2010. Sheesh. I just might fail ce soir. No, I won't at all. Alllllso, I'd like to take 202 (wouldn't YOU?) but I dunno guy with being on a team, AAAAAND class? That would mean three nights a week of comedy. Who do you think I am? Well yah, I'm funners.
Gawd, there's a lot of talking to myself 'round here today.
I don't have any streetcar stories today. No men exposing their naked butts, no people cramming themselves in through the back doors. But I must say, I love the feeling of having a jam-cram-packed streetcar roll up to the stop, replete with people just barely hanging onto the 'car and spilling out the windows, only to see another, very lonely, empty streetcar directly behind that one, which no one happens to think to get on but myself, leaving me a nice, large, luxurious streetcar to really let loose in, and be able to bask in graffiti such as the below.

Breakfast anyone?

P.S. On a note related to the beginning of this post, I also love Supergrass. If they have a concert upcoming in TO, LET ME KNOW

Friday mornings

Drinking a cup of coffee and chewing Trident Strawberry Twist gum. Never a dull moment 'round these parts. Who told you Friday mornings weren't fun?

Ok I'm back, sorry

Conversations with Auntie:

Auntie: Anyone interesting on the streetcar today?
Me: No one interesting today. Just stupid people who keep loading themselves in through the back doors. And then they laugh 'cause it's awkward, but it's only awkward because there's no room for them at all and they're probably just embarrassingly laughing at themselves 'cause they look so stupid cramming their bodies into an already JAMMED streetcar. And then the driver yells at everyone on the car because someone's standing on the back steps and "the door won't close if you're standing on the back steps." Heard that about 100 times already today.

Wah Stride

Nah, you know what I wasn't very impressed with what Stride (Cadbury) offered me for my unfortunate 13-pc gum experience. They sent me two $1.00 off coupons. Pretty stingy if you ask me. I should follow up and ask for more compensation with a small note that just says, "Not enough to get me to buy Stride again. What else ya got."
In other news, I just sent out yet another complaint - this time to Anchor Hocking. I'm not normally in the practice of putting plastic in the microwave but I recently put a glass container with its corresponding plastic lid in the microwave, as merely a splatter guard - not tightly sealed on or nothin - as the container said it was mircrowave safe, but after removing it from the mike after only about 45 seconds on a very normal setting for reheating leftovers, the lid was completely warped and would not even fit on the container anymore. What B.S.
That's like the time I bought a wool sweater from Smart Set that I LOOOOVED and it said it was machine washable. Why did I listen? When I pulled it from the washer it was the size of a Cabbage Patch preemie sweater. Sad.

Honestly Edward's

I must give my pal KZ credit for the title of this blog posting.
Everyone, Honest Ed's has the best price goin' on Sunflower Kitchen hummus! I could barely believe my eyes on a lunchtime trip there to get some shoelaces for Bron (as an aside: shoelaces are very hard to come by in this city) when I saw the $2.97 price tag! Hello! Honestly Edward's saves the day! Every other retailer has their hummus for at least $3.99. Insanity. Don't stop it!
I also noticed they have Sunflower Kitchen soups as well. Can't wait to try those.
