Things overheard at work
At last job: -"Lumberjacks are actually really smart!" -"I didn't say they weren't!!"
At current job: -"Fax machine is the photocopier?" -"Welcome to the 21st century."
i'm only on your third-from-the-top post, and this is my third time posting. what's up with that?
I only have two things to say:
- the lumberjack thing - i don't get it, but what immediately jumped to mind was that whole monty python i'm a lumberjack and i'm okay skit, and after that, it just didn't matter.
- WTF. How is it that I can put a multipage document into a photocopier, punch a dozen buttons and walk back to my deak to an email with a pdf copy of my document waiting in it? WTF?
ps: I haven't read your next post yet, but I'll try to hold back on commenting, cause i now you're a busy girl........
